About Hoops for All 3x3
It all started in the summer of 2025. As three friends and passionate basketball advocates, Ardavan, Sanam, and Parham, we decided to pool our diverse backgrounds in basketball and 3x3 operations. We launched this non-profit organization with a clear mission: to grow the 3x3 game across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), build a vibrant and inclusive community, and introduce Canada's basketball community to the fast-paced culture of 3x3, making them fall in love with the game.

Sanam Nezami
Co-Founder & Strategy / OperationsI hold a Master's degree in Physical Education and bring 29 years of experience in basketball as a former Iranian national team player, referee, international commissioner, and educator. Having served as an international commissioner since 2017 and previously leading the Women's 3x3 Basketball Department in Iran, I am also a 3x3 basketball rules instructor and translator. I have a deep passion for developing 3x3 basketball and organizing events that bring athletes and communities together through the sport.
Dr. Ardavan Eizadirad
Co-Founder & Basketball DevelopmentMy life and work have been shaped by the intersection of education and sport: two powerful arenas for cultivating leadership, building community, and creating pathways for others to succeed. For more than 20 years, I have officiated basketball at various levels. I am currently an active international wheelchair basketball referee representing Canada at international tournaments, and I also serve as the Officials' Assignor for the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association (OSBA). Alongside my sporting roles, I work as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at Wilfrid Laurier University. Across my academic and sporting roles, I am deeply committed to developing people, strengthening systems, and creating meaningful opportunities for individuals and communities to thrive.
Parham Vafaeiseresht
Co-Founder & 3x3 Organizer / OperationsI live a multi-dimensional life, but basketball has always remained my lifelong passion, a constant love that has stayed with me through every moment. I started basketball officiating 13 years ago in Iran, and this is my fourth year refereeing in Canada. A year into my officiating journey, I gravitated toward 3x3 basketball. I have been a certified FIBA 3x3 organizer ever since, having organized or collaborated on over 120 events across Iran, Turkey, the UAE, and now Canada. In the 3x3 sector, my leadership experience includes serving as the Vice President of the Provincial University Basketball Board in Iran and President of the City of Arak University Basketball Board. Beyond basketball, my background spans aviation and entrepreneurship in the video game industry.
